CLASSICAL MECHANICS

The study of motion of objects such as, bicycles, scooters, cars, trains, aeroplanes, ships, etc. is familiar to us in our day to day life. This is called Newtonian or Classical Mechanics.

This study can be divided into two parts :

Kinematics and Dynamics

Kinematics deals with the description of motion without inquiring about the causes of motion. Dynamics deals with analysis of motion by inquiring about the causes of motion.
