3.7 Are Calculators Allowed ?

Basically the questions in SAT I do not require the use of a calculator; But you are permitted to use any type of calculator for the Math Sections if you choose. Make sure it works before you actually bring it to the test. If it breaks down during the test, you will have to continue without it. You will not be allowed to share calculators. Don’t use a calculator for all the questions; decide whether the calculator will be useful for a particular question and only then, use it.

The following things are NOT allowed in the test room : laptop computers, prinled paper, type or printer, pocket-organizers, hand-held computers .
