4.6 Trapezoids

The perimeter of a trapezoid is the sum of all its sides.

Perimeter of LMNO = a + b1 + a1 + b

If a trapezoid MNPQ which is congruent to LMNO is drawn on seg.MN a parallelogram LQPO is obtained ( figure 4.6).
