Minor Characters

Lewis XI - King of France and brother of Lady Bona

Edmund, Earl of Rutland - son of York who dies an early death
at the hands of Clifford.

Duke of Exeter - Great-uncle of Henry VI who counsels him

Sir John Mortimer - Uncle to the Duke of York, he is killed in
battle.

Sir Hugh Mortimer - Uncle to the Duke of York, he is killed in
battle.

Henry, Earl of Richmond - a Youth who will eventually rule
England and bring peace to the country

Earl Rivers - brother to Lady Grey

Sir John Montgomery - comes to the aid of Edward after he
escapes from imprisonment

Mayor of York - allows Edward to gain access to York after he
has been dethroned

Lieutenant of the Tower - takes care of King Henry when he is
first imprisoned

Lady Elizabeth Grey - a nobleman's wife. She later married
Edward and bears him a son.

Lady Bona - sister to the French King. She was supposed to have
married Edward but he married Lady Grey instead.
