Act IV, Scene 5

The Duke dispatches Friar Peter with letters to some of his friends asking them to meet him at the gate.

This brief scene is merely to push the play forward. There are discrepancies in the scene, as none of the friends that are called to the gate are mentioned elsewhere. It must be assumed that the parts of the play have been omitted from the final version, or that two different versions have been combined into one single play.
