Stoker, Bram (1847-1912) - An English writer whose mystery thrillers brought him
most of his later renown. He was also secretary and business manager to the famous
actor Sir Henry Irving. Dracula (1897)- A classic in the Gothic novel genre, Dracula
has become the standard version of the vampire legend in Western culture.
