Directions for quantitative comparison problems

The following test has a set of 15 questions which feature in two different columns with a quantity in each. Compare them.

Examples :

Your choice should be A if the quantity in Column A is greater than the quantity in Column B.

Your choice should be B if the quantity in Column B is greater than the quantity in Column A.

Your choice should be C if the quantities in Column A & Column B are equal.

Your choice should be D if you cannot figure out which quantity is greater from the information given.

No credit will be given for choosing choice E.

  • Any letter or symbol means the same thing throughout a single problem but may not mean the same in different problems.

  • Information that is placed between two columns applies to both the columns in that particular problem.
