1733 - John Kay invented the Flying Shuttle.

1764 - James Hargreaves invented the Spinning Jenny

1769 - Arkwright invented the Water-frame.

1769 - James Watt invented a better steam engine called the Beelzebub.

1778 - Samuel Crompton invented his machine called The Spinning Mule.

1785 - Dr.Edmund Cartwright invented the Automatic Power Loom.

1793 - Eli Whitney invented a machine which he called the Cotton Gin.

1800 - Gieseppe Count Alexandro Volta invented the Voltaic Cell. Michael Faraday invented the Dynamo.


1801 - Richard Trevithick invented the first Steam Locomotive.

1807 - Robert Fulton invented the steamboat called the Clermont.

1814 - George Stephenson made improvements on Trevithick’s locomotive in his Rocket.

1816 - Humphrey Davy invented the Davy’s Safety Lamp.

1825 - Some liberals persuaded the Parliament to legalize Trade Unions.

1848 - Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels issued the Communist Manifesto

1856 - Henry Bessemer discovered a process for removing impurities from iron.

1867 - The Reform Act was passed.

1867 - Marx and Engels published the first of three volumes of Das Kapital

1880 - Germany undertook Social Legislation to help the laborers.
