Geometrical Interpretation

We assume side AC = b and AB = c. In addition, assume the unknown side BC = b lies along x - axis.

Case 00 < C < 900 :- In this case we may get one or two triangles or no triangle satisfying the data. Through C a straight line AC = b and angle between x-axis and AC be Ð C. Draw AD = h, perpendicular to x-axis. The various possibilities are described in the following table.
