Draw the graph of y = 2 sin (4x + 3)

Solution: y = 2 sin (4x + 3)         .........(1)

Transferring the origin do 0' (-3/4, 0), equation (1) reduces to y = 2 sin (4x)                             .........(2)
For the plotting the graph of (ii) in the new system we prepare the following table.

While drawing the graph, we have to show both the coordinate systems. Thus the required graph (i) in the original system is the same as the graph of (ii) in the new system.
